SPRING ROSTER

Below  is our schedule for Spring 2018

March 26th - June 17th


Hatha Yoga with Ali  

 Monday 7-8:15pm                                        March 26th-June 11th

Invigorate your practice and find a safe challenge. This class is focused on stretching into your “edge”. Through intelligent use of sequencing, posture and breath you will be able to advance your practice as we safely build up to and explore more advanced postures and techniques. The class will also work to reestablish a healthy energy in the body. If feeling dull you will leave invigorated. If feeling anxious, these classes will sooth the nerves. Options to scale the intensity of the class up or down will be made available. Bring a spirit of adventure. All levels welcome.


Hatha Yoga with Ali

Tuesdays 10:30-11:45 March 27th-June 12th

This gently flowing class will help you to improve circulation, ease digestion, maintain a limber spine, strengthen you and simply make you more at ease. Through yoga, breathwork and meditation you will develop confidence and nurture your innate wisdom to connect your body and mind. This class is also an excellent choice for seniors, pregnant women, and students suffering from chronic illness or injuries.


Intermediate Level Yoga with Ali

Tuesdays 7:00-8:30pm March 27th-June 12th

Delve deeper. Yoga is a technology. Yoga comes with an array of tools to help us tune the instruments of our body. This 12-week series is designed to empower you. Ali will push you past your comfort zone. On the other side is a much happier, stronger and healthier you.

Class includes: asana(postures), pranayama(breath control), bandhas(energy locks), visualization, meditation, mantra (sound).

Some experience is required.


Yin/Yang  with Dena

Wednesdays 7:00-8:30pm March 28th-June 13th


This class is sequenced to restore us to a balance of energy. Dena will have you begin with yin postures to find inner connection, soften the muscle and get closer to the bone. Then, move gently into more traditional active hatha postures sequenced to build strength and balance.

Therapeutic Yin with Ali

Sunday Evenings 5:30-7pm April 1st-June 17th

This 12-week yin series is an opportunity for you to commit to slowing down and allowing space for your body and mind to be nourished and restored.

All of the poses are done on the floor and are held for a few to several minutes in duration. Within these longer holds, the layers between the muscles are stimulated, which is where the benefits for the joints, tendons, ligaments and internal organs takes place. The joints get rejuvenated within these holds and benefits are felt days after the class. This yin class is designed to stimulate the meridians. The benefits of a yin class are similar to that of acupuncture, minus the needle.

Incorporated in every class will be breathing techniques, guided visualization, and relaxation techniques.

Committing to 12 weeks of this blissful relaxation on a weekly basis is bound to have tremendous effects on your body, mind and spirit!
